A Retail Client is subject to more restrictions than a Professional Client but receives more protections by law. A Professional Client may be exposed to higher risk, and therefore must act with greater responsibility and accountability, but receives access to more features than a Retail Client.

You will retain your Retail Client status, which is the default status for all PrimoBull users.
Retail Clients receive access to all our trading assets and can trade both manually or via Copy Trade (subject to suitability). However, Retail Clients’ leverage is restricted. Retail Clients receive certain protections such as coverage by the Investor Compensation Fund and recourse to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Furthermore, they receive negative balance protection and margin closeout restrictions.
Yes. You must first open a a Standard PrimoBull Account before applying for Professional Client status. If you already have an account with us, and have checked your eligibility, you can apply for Professional Client status immediately.
